Experience the Divine Aarti at Saryu Ghat

The Saryu River is the lifeline of Ayodhya and holds a special place in Hindu mythology. A visit to Ayodhya is incomplete without witnessing the grand Saryu Aarti performed every evening.

The Spiritual Atmosphere

As the sun sets, the ghats light up with thousands of earthen lamps (diyas). The rhythmic chanting of mantras, the sound of bells, and the fragrance of incense create an atmosphere of absolute divinity.

Best Time to Visit

The Aarti usually begins around 6:00 PM in winter and 7:00 PM in summer. We recommend reaching the ghats at least 30 minutes early to get a good viewing spot.

The Saryu Ghat is easily accessible from Birla Dharmashala. You can take a short e-rickshaw ride or enjoy a peaceful walk through the city's heritage lanes.
